Welles Central Chandelier by David Rockwell

Originally presented as part of Gabriel Scott’s Floating Ideas project during Milan Design Week 2022, the Welles by David Rockwell is a reimagination of Gabriel Scott’s iconic Welles Steel Chandelier and is inspired by clusters found in nature, such as crystals, chemical compounds, and clouds.

The hollowed glass polygons act as metallic light points that come together at varying heights and dimensions to form a floating light cluster. The feature chandelier is defined by its luxe volume and organic nature.

The Welles 17 Chandelier by David Rockwell is part of Gabriel Scott’s Welles Reimagined collection. Discover the Welles reinterpreted by global designers David Rockwell, Kelly Hoppen, Michelle Gerson, Sybille de Margerie, Alessandro Munge and Guan Lee online.
