The Humo side table is an example of old world materials and methods meets new world techniques. Humo is clay that is unique to the region of Oaxaca, Mexico and turns characteristically black when cured in the underground ovens. The end result is furniture manufactured out of one-of-a-kind clay that is typically used for much smaller applications. Each piece is inherently unique by nature of the hand molded clay.
