Ara Thorose is an Armenian American designer from Los Angeles, currently based in New York. In 2015 he received an MFA in 3D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art. As an undergraduate at University of California, Irvine, he studied Sociology with a focus on gender and sexuality.

Garnering critical acclaim after debuting at Architectural Digest Design Show in 2017, his innovative form language set a trend for bending cylindrical forms in design. His work continues to be featured in trend forecasts for form, mood and color.
